ADULT LEARN-TO-ROW

We are still in the process of developing our Adult Learn-to-Row schedule for 2026. Classes will consist of 6 sessions of 1.5-2 hours and have been held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. We usually run sessions from April to August.

To aid our planning we are creating a waiting list. Please go to the Book Online page and click on Adult Learn to Row Waitlist to fill in your contact details including the preferred month for your class. Also indicate if you are over 16 years old on the form.

JUNIOR LEARN-TO-ROW CAMPS

We are in the process of developing our 2026 Youth Rowing Camps. This year we will be offering two types of camps:

1. "Launch into Rowing!" Come out and have fun on the water while you learn the basics of rowing, water safety and boat handling. We have a fun staff, great equipment and a wonderful lake to row on! This is a casual, fun week of rowing - generally geared to  younger participants who want to explore something new. Camps will run from 9am-1pm.

2. Performance camps - Nanaimo Rowing Club is growing! And we are looking for good athletes who want to try rowing. Have fun on the water while learning what it takes to succeed in one of Canada's most successful Olympic Sports. These sessions are geared towards teens that want to become fast rowers. Camps will run from 9am-12pm.

All sessions will run Monday to Friday.
