NRC Rowing Fees

Nanaimo Rowing Club Rates for 2026-2027

Masters:

Annual fee Apr 1, 2026: $860 includes $72.75 annual fee.
April – October 2026: $655 includes $72.75 annual fee.
Monthly Rate: $100 + $72.75 annual fee for the 1st month. Subsequent months $100.
Boat Storage: $200 per private rowing shell storage in the NRC compound.
Regatta fees are not included and will be assessed on a user-pay basis.

Juniors:

Spring (Feb – May 2026): $698 includes $72.75 annual fee & regatta fees for Kraken Erg, Elk Lake Spring, Maple Bay and Nanaimo.
Summer (Jun – Aug 2026): $345 + $72.75 annual fee or $140/month + $72.75 annual fee
Fall (Sep 2026– Jan 2027): $555 + $72.75 annual fee
Regatta fees are not included for summer or fall and will be assessed on a user-pay basis.
10% discount for additional junior family members (excluding $72.75 annual fee)

Seniors:

Summer (May – Aug 2026): $445 + $72.75 annual fee
Monthly Rate: $140 + $72.75 annual fee
Regatta fees are not included and will be assessed on a user-pay basis.

Learn to Row:

Adults - $210 includes $72.75 annual fee for 6 lessons @1.5 hours
Juniors
Fun Summer Camp - $140 includes $72.75 annual fee for 5 lessons OR Bring a Friend at 2 for $220 (includes annual fees)
Competitive Summer Camp $160 includes $72.75 annual fee for 5 lessons

Drop-in:

$195 for 10 sessions + $72.75 annual insurance fee
Single drop-in (visitor with insurance) $25
3-for-1 Dryland sessions – participate in 3 dryland/erg sessions for one Drop-in session during the Fall/Winter when on-water rowing is not available.
Regatta fees are not included and will be assessed on a user-pay basis.

Annual Fees for 2026-2027:

Annual fees are paid once per year for on-water and dryland rowing to cover the period of April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027. It is not pro-rated to cover portions of the year.

$72.75 annual fee = $31.75 Rowing Canada (includes insurance) + $8.00 Rowing Canada Special Investment fee + $28.00 to Rowing BC + $5.00 Boathouse.
